 | What is the League? |
|
We simply call it a League because you earn points over the 10 season which can earn you a spot into the finals. The first 8 weeks are league play / qualifiers. Chances are if you win a tournament you will make it into the final, however if you only place in the top 16 you will probably need to keep a lookout because others might be able to surpass you depending on the size of the tavern. At the end of the 8 weeks the top point leaders at each bar will get invited to the finals.

| Do I have to join the League? |
|
No you can come and play one time and have fun. However, we will automatically create an account for you that you can use any time to play in other tournaments and keep accumulating points. We do not charge any fees for league players.

| What is my username & password? |
|
If you were a walkin to an event and we created an account for you, your username and password will be your first and last name together no spaces (as it was written down). If you still can't log in email our customer service.

| Is this legal? |
|
Our league is designed to play "Virgin Poker" where no money is exchanged. To most of use this would seem to be legal, however we make no assumptions and it is up to you to check with your local authorities.

|
Yes, Texas Hold’em is taking the nation by storm.
People love to compete and right now Texas Hold’em is the hottest competition out there.
Your patrons will love the opportunity to play in large scale tournaments on a weekly basis with out the financial concerns of spending hundreds of dollars on entry fees.

| What can I win? |

Each bar / tavern is responsible for the main prizes (typically 1st & 2nd), again check with your local authorities on restrictions for prizes.

| Do I need any equipment to do this? |
|
Your Poker Taverns Tournaments can be as simple or authentic as you would like.
If you would like to just play with casino quality chips on your own tables or bring in felt table tops, the choice is yours.

| What do I have to do to host Poker Taverns Tournaments? |
|
Poker Taverns will provide you with our Tournament Manual, which includes how to run the tournament, the blind structure and chip values. It also includes some helpfull tips on increasing your food and beverage sales during a tournament. Where available you may also have on site sales support to help you run the first night. If you don't have the staff to run the tournament we suggest you hire or contract someone to ensure they run smoothly.

| When can I get started hosting Poker Tavern Tournaments? |
|
You can start hosting tournaments right away. As long as we are not at the end of a qualifiers (past week 5) you can host qualifiers. If we are past qualifiers then you can start hosting preseason games up to 3 weeks prior to the next season. For more information or to start earlier please contact one of our sales reps. | Age Requirements? |
|
The league itself does not have any age restrictions, however we do allow each bar to establish an age rule. Be check each establishment for any age restrictions.
