Blind squirrel....acorn....yada yada..... For the record, I thought everyone played unbelievably well. I am aware that under different circumstances DC's pocket queens would have held up and I come in second. I was very fortunate to hit two pair. I am certain that the kindness of the river made me the 1st player ever to suck out to win a big hand! You tournament directors, tavern owners, and volunteers should get the overwhelming congratulations and gratitude (and financial support) from those of us that play in the league. For what it's worth, I've had a great time playing against some fine players, really, and have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know many of you. I've enjoyed meeting some terrific people in the league. I eagerly anticipate meeting dozens more.
